Assessment and consultation grounded in anatomy are the foundation of successful lip and perioral treatments.

In a region so central to both facial aesthetics and function, mastering injectable techniques here is a true cornerstone of excellence in aesthetic medicine.

At Interface Expo, senior trainer Dr. Yousrah Ahmed performed a live lip filler demonstration — showcasing a comprehensive approach from consultation through to treatment.

You can watch the full assessment and treatment on E-Interface as part of our Lip & Perioral Masterclass — a blended experience combining expert-led theory with an intensive, small-group hands-on training day. Learn a range of advanced techniques to achieve natural, balanced, and harmonious results.

In this clinical demonstration from Interface Expo, Director of Interface Aesthetics, Mr. James Olding, presents a masterclass in comprehensive anatomical assessment — exploring the intricate relationship between the mid and lower face through the integrated lens of medicine, dentistry, and maxillofacial surgery.

This evidence-based, multi-disciplinary framework moves beyond surface-level aesthetics to address the biomechanical, functional, and aesthetic dimensions of patient well-being.

This demonstration forms part of our E-Interface Learning Platform, designed to elevate the standard of practice across the medical aesthetics landscape and equip practitioners with a new depth of knowledge.

The platysma muscle plays a far more significant role in lower face and neck ageing than many practitioners realise. Its anatomy can often surprise even experienced injectors, particularly in how it influences the position and behaviour of lower facial soft tissues.

Understanding the platysma—along with the important structures that lie adjacent to it—is an essential part of safe and effective lower face and neck rejuvenation.

In this video, Interface Aesthetics trainer and maxillofacial surgery registrar, Mr Felix Karst, demonstrates key lower face muscles and anatomical relationships during a live teaching session at Interface Expo 2025.

This video, along with many more hours of expert-led anatomical teaching, is available on e-Interface as part of your learning journey with Interface Aesthetics.

From feeling “unbelievably nervous” to leaving inspired, capable, and clinically confident.

Transitioning into Aesthetic Medicine can feel daunting — and that’s exactly why our training is structured differently.

Our Foundation and Advanced courses are designed as a high-impact blended learning experience. We front-load your education with detailed, evidence-based online theory so that when you step into the clinical room, you are:

• Theoretically grounded
• Anatomically prepared
• Clinically aware
• Ready to focus entirely on precision and patient safety

These intensive one-day practical courses are built specifically for healthcare professionals who want to enter aesthetics the right way.

We don’t just teach injectables. We prioritise:

✔ Patient safety
✔ Anatomical depth
✔ Clinical decision-making
✔ Holistic patient assessment

You train under direct supervision from expert faculty in a highly controlled environment — ensuring you leave prepared to deliver a safe, ethical, and high standard of care.

And when you’re ready to progress?
Your Foundation and Advanced training can be used towards the Level 7 Diploma in Aesthetic Injectables — without needing to repeat or repay for these courses again.

Safe and confident practitioners are built on solid education.

If you’re ready to step into aesthetics properly — start with the right foundation.

Who is teaching your hands to see?👀

Before a needle ever touches skin, there is a question more important than technique:

Who shaped the eyes that are shaping yours?

Aesthetic medicine is not learned in isolation. It is transmitted — not just through protocols and product familiarity, but through philosophy, surgical literacy, and an understanding of facial form that predates injectables.

In this live injection masterclass at Interface Expo 2025, our Director, Mr. James Olding, explores something rarely discussed: head positioning during assessment — and how subtle deviations alter perceived asymmetry, projection, and balance.

This perspective is not accidental.

It is drawn from years in maxillofacial and facial deformity surgery — where millimetres determine identity — and translated through the interface into non-surgical aesthetics. Because when you understand skeletal relationships, vector forces, and structural harmony, your injectable results elevate beyond just correction.

This fascinating case is now available on our e-learning platform, e-Interface, for those who wish to study not just what was done, but why.

So we ask again:

When you choose your educators,
Are you choosing technique?
Or are you choosing thinkers?

Are you choosing trend-followers?
Or are you choosing leaders?

We are already looking forward to welcoming many of you to Interface Expo 2026 — where more expert-led live injections, deeper anatomical discourse, and future leaders will gather again.

Because in aesthetic medicine, your results are shaped long before your syringe is lifted. You must first learn to truly see🙌
