A huge thank you to Yobanny Valencia for joining us at Interface Expo and delivering his insightful talk, “How to Set Up a Clinic.”
Yobanny took the audience through the real journey behind Derma Consult .consult from the challenges of those early days to the practical systems and strategies that helped him build a thriving clinic.

What makes his story even more special to us is that Yobanny completed his very first aesthetics course with Interface. Over the years, through dedication, continuous learning and passion for safe practice, he has grown into an exceptional practitioner and is now part of our team as a faculty trainer.

His session offered honest, grounded and truly actionable guidance for clinicians at every stage, whether you’re just starting out, expanding your business, or refining your patient journey.

A truly poignant moment at the close of Interface Expo , as Julie Scott took an on-stage moment to thank with a heartfelt gift and touching speech on behalf of the entire Interface Aesthetics team — a gesture that also reflects the gratitude of every delegate, mentee, and colleague who has ever been part of our training community.

Mentorship and education are the foundations of safer, stronger aesthetic practice, and in a year in which our founding director was awarded Medical Aesthetic Practitioner of the Year for his remarkable achievements in education and leadership, and achieved his Fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons as a Maxillofacial Surgeon — all while leading the growing business and vision that drive Interface Expo and Interface Aesthetics — this was a final, heartfelt thank you for the leadership that continues to lift others up.

We are incredibly inspired as we move into 2026, ready to implement the vision and energy that continues to drive our organisation forward 🙌

Clinical research that spans professions and specialties - our research team is headed by Founder and supported by a team of clinicians who actively contribute to clinical trials, academic publications and conference activities.

Coming up with a novel research idea is a balance of new (sometimes slightly outlandish) ways of thinking combined with scientific rigour. Getting that balance right can be challenging.

With a team working across surgery and aesthetics, the intersections that make these ideas possible are common . One example is how facial assessment in surgery and orthodontics can influence treatment planning in medical aesthetics, such as through assessment of the Mandibular Plane Angle (MPA).

As 2025 draws to a close, we are proud to have concluded our first Phase 3 RCT as a study site in a multi-national trial. Drawing on this experience, we plan to make 2026 even more research-focussed, but not before the final (now Sold Out) event of the year has completed its FOURTH iteration next week 👊

With over 50 research posters being presented, there’s more research to come yet for 2025 🙌
