📣Coaching Opportunities - North London 📣

Do you know a coach that would like to join the team to coach up and coming college athletes?

We have 2 vacancies coming up in our coaching team:
1 - 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 within athletics disciplines (such as long jump)
2 - 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 to support other coaches and injury rehab

Lead coach is a paid role for someone who has personal experience or coaching experience in a range of athletics disciplines.

Intern coach is for an up and coming coach who would like to learn and support various athletics disciplines, strength and conditioning and sports rehab plans for our athletes. This role will have expenses paid.

Remember - sometimes the simple meals are the best.
Now it’s getting cold I’m fully back into my slow cooker. From vegi casseroles to chilli to Thai chicken, not only is it a cheap way to cook, it’s healthy, it can be prepped hours in advance and creates meals perfect for the cold weather.

Enjoying a little bit of outdoor workout time between the autumn showers.

Sometimes when you feel tired and low, getting some fresh air and endorphins (happy hormones) from a little workout is all you need to boost you back up.

It may be hard to get started but once you have you’ll feel so much better for it! Whether it’s a run, a circuit or even just a brisk walk, get out and get it done!

A day in the life…(minus breakfast of porridge with berries, chia seeds and cacao nibs).

Preparation is key 🔑 without it my days are much less healthy!! Being unprepared, dehydrated or letting yourself get hungry are often the main reasons for eating too much unhealthy food!

Here is lunch, dinner, pudding and snacks. So long as I have this and plenty of water, if I also want a treat then I’m fine with that! It isn’t about depriving yourself, so long as you’re exercising and generally eating healthily you can also have treats ☺️

Advantages of group training:
• Competitive element
• Enjoyment
• All players have their own strengths to push other group members
• Other members push them on their weaker areas
And of course session costs are lower than 1-2-1 sessions
