A lot happened today.
💬 We had our relatives’ meeting, where we discussed important topics and continued celebrating Wellbeing coordinator of the Year — Lucy is rolling in praise and flowers 💐
🥞It was also Pancake Day, so for pudding we enjoyed delicious pancakes with cream and chocolate or strawberry toppings.
🍿We watched a documentary about the wonderful Norman Wisdom, learned about his life and career, and shared plenty of laughs.
💕And to top it all off, it’s Random Acts of Kindness Day, so we’ve been exchanging kind messages and sweet treats with each other.

🧧Chinese New Year, or the Spring Festival, marks the start of the new year in the traditional Chinese lunisolar calendar. It is one of the most important Chinese holidays and was added to UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2024🧧🥠🐲

Celebrating the end of winter ❄️ and the arrival of spring 🌱 the festival runs from Tuesday, 17 February to Tuesday, 3 March in 2026.

To celebrate, we created art, played games with chopsticks and pom-poms, took part in a quiz, and received thoughtful messages and New Year predictions 🥢❤️

Situated in Raynes Park, South West London Carter House Nursing Home offers the highest standards of nursing, residential and dementia care for up to 45 residents. The bright modern care home has a warm family atmosphere and visitors are welcome at any time.

From music groups with pre-schoolers to gardening projects with teenagers, our homes are lively and integral to their local communities. We’re passionate about caring for our residents and committed to supporting people to have an outstanding quality of life.

Everyday is different, residents enjoy everything from films and reminiscing to games and crafts. We get out and about in our garden or enjoy outings both in the local area and further afield.
