Today I was preparing for hosting the New Moon ritual online via Zoom — a sacred space for grounding, intention, and self-respect.
The core intention of this New Moon in Capricorn is simple, yet powerful:
to plant grounded seeds for your life, work, and sense of self — not rushing, but building wisely.
Capricorn invites you to reflect on:
• What you are building
• How you use your energy
• Where you need clearer boundaries
• What you are ready to commit to — gently, not forcefully
You can do this ritual at home, exactly as shared here.
Begin by arriving in your body.
Take three slow breaths.
Inhale: “I arrive.”
Exhale: “I ground.”
Place your hands on the floor, carpet, or earth and silently say:
“Mother Earth, hold me steady as I plant my new seeds.”
Choose a crystal if you have at home that feels right and hold it with intention, asking it to support you through this new cycle.
I worked with Amber for this New Moon — a reminder that nurturing yourself is not a luxury, but a foundation.
Amber teaches warmth, self-care, and gentle strength, especially when self-worth feels tender.
On your paper, write:
“Under the New Moon in Capricorn, I commit to…”
Let your intentions be commitments rather than wishes.
Commit to steady work without burnout.
To clearer boundaries.
To trusting your worth.
To building step by step.
To rest as part of your success.
Read one intention aloud — even if it’s just to yourself.
Witness it without judgement.
Hold your paper over a bowl of water and say:
“As this water flows, may my intentions move with clarity, patience, and strength.”
Seal them with earth or salt, anchoring your intentions into the physical world.
Light a candle and say:
“I step into this new cycle grounded, clear, and aligned with my truth.”
Sit in stillness for a few moments.
This is Capricorn medicine.
Quiet. Steady. Rooted.
Building something that lasts.
If this resonates, you’re welcome to join the next New Moon ritual 🤍
More soon.
