It may be my birthday weekend but I’ll always fit in a horse in need - especially when it’s a boy I haven’t seen in a while! Glad to make him feel more comfortable in his retirement 🥰

Today was a busy one! Here were Sunday’s Superb Six - Nancy, Sienna, Kita, Duke, Amigo and Skye. All needed a bit of work but nothing dramatic, and six owners now have some homework ☺️

Anyone else think I hit the spot??? 😂 Rio is a lovely young cob who is back in full work after I advised a break over Christmas and it has paid dividends. He’s stronger and much more able to handle work. Just a few tweaks today including a small tear and spasm in his semi tendinosus muscle. He obviously enjoyed me freeing up the spasm!

I have worked with horses since the age of 16, in a riding school to start with, and then later in a racing yard and as an instructor. Since then I have gained a number of equestrian qualifications including a BSc (Hon) in Equine Science, Diploma in Equine Sports Massage, and Certificates in Equine Behaviour and Long-reining.

I have been working in horse-racing since 2003, and do my massage work alongside that since I qualified in 2007.

In 2002 I rescued a 6 month old New Forest pony foal from slaughter and backed her myself when the time was right. Those in my area are now very used to seeing us in local dressage competitions (we’ve trained to Medium level at home) and galloping around the countryside!
