Our classes are great fun, they are filled with music, singing, props and of course are famous Jessie Cat. It is through this fun that you will learn hundreds of signs and give your baby the unbelievable and life-changing ability to communicate with you before they can form the words. Sing and Sign uses rhymes and songs to teach babies simple gestures which have derived from Sign Langauge. Around 9 months babies tend to use a lot of gestures, so our Sing and Sign classes teach you more specific gestures to introduce so that you can help your baby to properly communicate. By doing this you lessen their frustration, which in turn can lessen our frustration! But not only is baby signing good for minimising frustration for babies, it also hugely helps with language learning. Our programme has been developed with the help of Speech and Language Therapists and comes recommended by experts. People believe that babies learn by just listening to adults talk around them, for a more varied and expressive vocabulary babies need to hear words relating directly to their world and they need to hear then repeated over and over again. Finally as well as these two factors, the classes are also just really fun! The songs are a hit with the babies, the babies make friends and so do the parents and carers. From personal experience I honestly can’t recommend these baby classes enough. But then I would say that, seeing as I’m teaching them ; )
