Your body is changing with the season. 🌿
The Spring Equinox marks the shift from winter’s stillness to spring’s movement. In Ayurveda, seasonal transitions are sensitive times for the body.
Energy may fluctuate.
Digestion may feel slower.
Congestion or allergies may appear.
Why?
Because the body is starting to release what accumulated during winter.
Spring is nature’s detox season. 🌼
In winter, the body naturally stores and slows down:
• Heavier foods
• Less movement
• More rest
This builds Kapha – the energy of heaviness, moisture and stability.
As the weather warms, that stored Kapha begins to melt and move. This can lead to:
• Sluggish digestion
• Fatigue
• Congestion
• Seasonal allergies
Ayurveda recommends lightening and stimulating the body to restore balance.
Spring is the time to wake up the system.
1️⃣ Herbal Body Scrub – Udvartana 🌿
Wake up the body through the skin.
In Ayurveda, the skin is an important elimination organ. Stimulating it helps the body release winter stagnation.
Key benefits:
• Helps to remove toxins and excess weight
• Enhances metabolism and circulation
• Softens and exfoliates the skin
• Improves muscle tone and digestion
• Improves vitality and energy
Think of it as spring cleaning for the body.
2️⃣ Abdominal Massage ✨
Spring is the time to strengthen digestion (Agni). After winter’s heavier diet, the digestive system often needs support.
Gentle abdominal massage can help:
• Stimulate digestive organs
• Reduce stagnation and bloating
• Improve circulation to the gut
• Support natural elimination
In Ayurveda, good digestion = good health.
When Agni is strong, the whole body functions better.
3️⃣ Liver Detox 🌱
Spring naturally activates the body’s cleansing systems. Supporting the liver helps the body process what built up during winter.
Benefits include:
• Better digestion
• Improved energy
• Clearer skin
• Reduced congestion
In Ayurveda, detox doesn’t mean extremes.
It means supporting the body so it can cleanse itself naturally.
