🌷 Aromatherapy for Women’s health 🌷

Last week we celebrated international WOMANS DAY & this Sunday is MOTHERS DAY! Celebrating all the wonderful things about women.

Down we thought it the perfect opportunity to share with you the amazing benefit of Aromatherapy for WOMENS HEALTH.

Aromatherapy uses natural essential oils from plants to support physical, mental & emotional wellbeing. A holistic natural healing therapy which also helps you to feel really good inside & out.

For Women’s health certain oils are commonly used to help with things like Menstrual discomfort, hormonal balance, mood, skin care, menopause symptoms & fertility.

Last week I had the pleasure of giving Aromatherapy to a lady who came to help alleviate her symptoms brought on by menstrual tension including painful cramps, unbalanced emotions, spot breakouts, hormones and low mood.

Essential oils for SEASONAL ALLERGIES

Seasonal allergies such as HAYFEVER are very common as we approach warmer seasons. This can be a bit of an uncomfortable time for those who suffer from range of symptoms brought on seasonal allergies that can include:

Congestion
Itchy eyes
Sneezing
Sinus pressure
Fatigue

All can contribute to causing discomfort, sleeping problems, low mood and avoidance of going outside.

Although there is no ‘cure’ for seasonal allergies, there are many remedies out there that can help ease the symptoms.

We here really believe in the healing power of essential oils, natural remedies that can offer an alternative holistic option that is both gentle and kind to body & mind.

Below is a list of 8 Essential oils that can be chosen to create the perfect blend to support you when seasonal allergies try to get you down!

Eucalyptus
Peppermint
Tea tree oil
Rosemary

All the above are great oils for respiratory support & decongestion and can help allocate hay fever symptoms such as sneezing, sinus pressure, blocked nose

Below are 4 oils perfect for calming and soothing as well and containing anti inflammatory and anti bacterial properties

Lavender

Frankincense

These blends can be applied through

Inhalation methods such as steam water or ‘sniff stick’

Massage blend to rub into chest or in a room diffuser
