Friday blessings Luminaries (+ equinox, Pisces new moon, Eid - a big week to celebrate!)

TONIGHT is our special collaboration with the incredibly talented Michael Sebastian who will be playing alongside DJ Gumbo at the beautiful space at Sanctuary &Soul in Shoreditch. We hope you are as excited as we are for this special night where we can dance and be in community. 💜

Michael Sebastian will open the evening with a guided warm-up inspired by his latest album Suggestions for the Dancefloor, intended to free the body to fully surrender in the dance.
From there, we drop into a dance journey with DJ Gumbo, with live instrumentation from Sebastian 🌎 🎸

With the arrival of the new moon, this signifies new beginnings and a time for setting intentions, we invite you to join us TOMORROW for our signature Luminous which will incorporate the artistry and talents of Michael Sebastian.

Sebastian will share some ‘Suggestions For The Dancefloor’ in a warm up based around his latest album, which is a campaign to liberate people in movement & life. He will offer some tools and energetic insights for dancers to take into their dance, with themes of unmasking, moving with emotions and ecstatic surrender.

This will be followed by an ecstatic dance journey, with DJ Gumbo playing 2 waves of afro-inspired music from around the world. This will incorporate live instrumentation from Sebastian, where he will blend Amapiano, Afro & Melodic house, Techno & World Groove, to bring the dancefloor into ecstatic revelry, responding to them live and in the moment.

Next week we welcome the New Moon in Pisces ♓️ one of the most dreamy and intuitive moons of the year. Pisces invites us to soften the edges, slow the pace, and listen to the quieter currents moving beneath the surface of our lives.

This new moon can be a moment to reset and ask:
✨ What is my intuition trying to tell me?
🌊 Where can I let go and trust the flow a little more?
💫 What dreams are ready to be imagined into being?

FX10K is the DJ alias of Felix Oram, a conscious movement facilitator and founder of the Temenos Dance Collective. With roots in early rave culture and decades of experience across clubs and curated dance spaces, his sets are shaped by emotional intelligence, groove, and careful attention to the room. Informed by long-term meditation practice and conscious movement work, Felix approaches DJing as a relational process — crafting journeys that support coherence, depth, and embodied presence on the dance floor.
