There are two mobility ramps now in place on Southsea Beach, providing step-free access for those who need it.
The ramps - installed by Portsmouth City Council as it gears up for summer - can be found near Southsea Beach Café and by the Pyramids.

SMA Awareness Month 2022

This year we wanted to raise awareness of practical yet affordable physio ideas which we have called Physio Hacks.

We understand how expensive equipment could be, and that NHS physio services are stretched. We are also aware we have a global following, including those from countries that do not offer universal healthcare.

From tomorrow we will be sharing a hack a day. We hope you find the ideas helpful. We have tried to cover the wide range of abilities found with SMA, as well as ideas for different ages.
