COULD CHEMICAL BLOCKAGES IN YOUR SPINE BE RESTRICTING VITAL SUPPLY TO YOUR ORGANS, CELLS AND TISSUES?

We all know that chemical stressors such as poor diet, medications, alcohol and environmental toxins aren’t good for us. But did you know that they actually cause blockages in the spine?

These blockages restrict the vital life force energy which is needed to supply the organs, cells end tissues for optimum health and wellbeing. The result is quite often an illness or condition, which affects the organs located off the spine where the blockages occur.

Regular Spinal Flow sessions can help remove existing blockages and keep new ones at bay. Still, as a practitioner I recommend my clients take a holistic approach, and clean up their lifestyles, to really amplify that life force energy.

One of those ways is to take a look at your environment. What products are you using? How clean is your water?

I’ll be doing various posts on changes I have made in this regard. Today I’ll talk about my water filter jug. I spent a good while researching these, from Brita to Zero Water to my absolute favourite and the one I use-ClearlyFiltered. It wins hands down on filtering out most of the nasties, far exceeding the other two on all types of impurities from microplastics, to hormones to heavy metals.

The only thing is it’s not available in the U.K.-you have to ship from USA. But I got round the shipping tax by buying the jug and one filter, with a regular subscription of 3 filters sent bi-annually.

In case anyone asks, I don’t get anything for this, I just really want to share clean products I love.

WANT TO MEDITATE BUT JUST CAN’T SEEM TO MAKE THE “EFFORT”?

Truth is, meditation doesn’t really require “effort”. Life is meditation, you are meditation. That state people seek in meditation-you are that-your true self. It’s just that the mind, the ego, gets in the way.

When you do meditate, do you just find yourself sitting there with the thoughts whirring around? And that you’re so preoccupied with them, you’re too busy thinking them than observing them?

I’m often asked by clients how many sessions of Spinal Flow are recommended.

Although each person is different, we practitioners always recommend starting with at least three half hour sessions per week. Some people prefer more, and that’s even better.

Multiple Spinal Flow sessions per week are recommended initially to begin clearing deep blockages in the spine and nervous system. This allows life force energy to consistently push through areas of resistance, restoring flow and vitality. It keeps up the momentum built up from the last session.

For those with deep and numerous blockages, more sessions may be recommended.

Once the system is open and the life force energy can flow more freely up and down the spine, weekly maintenance sessions help to keep the blockages at bay.

Autumn in the Lake District. In the mountains, in the forest, by the lakes, rivers, bubbling streams, fells. My happy place. The place is awash with the colours of Autumn.

Here in nature I feel at peace, at one with all there is. Nature breathes, life force energy pervades. Away from the concrete, surrounded by life force in the trees, the rocks, the birds, the squirrels, the water.

To look up at the night sky and see the glimmering stars. To be outdoors breathing in fresh air, feeling the sun on my skin.

These are life’s simple pleasures. If you live in the city, get out to the country once in a while. Take your kids. Climb a mountain with them (don’t forget to take snacks!). Get muddy. Drink a steaming mug of hot chocolate. Have it with whipped cream and marshmallows, if you like.

Go out and enjoy all that life has to offer! We are here to experience the beauty of this planet, and to realise who we truly are.

SUFFERING FROM LOW MOOD, DEPRESSION OR ANXIETY? THE SPINAL FLOW TECHNIQUE CAN HELP.

Spinal Flow is a hands-on somatic technique to help release blockages in the spine, caused by physical, chemical and emotional stress. The heart centre of the thoracic region is called the centre gateway in Spinal Flow. From an emotional perspective, blockages here may manifest as:

- Feeling undeserving of love
- Emotional states like resentment, anxiety, sadness or fear
- A tendency to protect or hide the heart

Releasing these blockages can lead to elevated emotions, such as joy and love, as well as clarity and emotional openness. Clients often report feeling more connected to themselves and experiencing a renewed sense of vitality.

We don't like to assign labels to any of these states such as positive or negative, good or bad. This can lead to us rejecting "negative" emotions, in other words, trying to suppress or push them down. This is what creates emotional blockages in the spine, so let's embrace all emotions, let's release what does not serve us. Spinal Flow can do just that.

TODAY IS WORLD MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS DAY

Mental health lives in the nervous system.

When we’re stuck in fight-or-flight, the body holds patterns of stress, fear, and emotional overwhelm.

The modalities I use: Spinal Flow, Breathwork, HeartMath, Meditation, and Reiki, each help restore balance in different, evidence-based ways:
