TODAY IS WORLD MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS DAY
Mental health lives in the nervous system.
When we’re stuck in fight-or-flight, the body holds patterns of stress, fear, and emotional overwhelm.
The modalities I use: Spinal Flow, Breathwork, HeartMath, Meditation, and Reiki, each help restore balance in different, evidence-based ways:
Spinal Flow Technique: Gently accesses spinal gateways to release stored tension and emotional patterns. By improving spinal alignment and nervous system flow, it supports regulation, clarity, and calm.

HeartMath: Uses biofeedback to build heart-brain coherence. Studies show it improves emotional resilience, reduces stress, and enhances cognitive function by synchronising autonomic rhythms.
Meditation: Mindfulness and guided meditation reduce anxiety by up to 30%, according to studies. They increase prefrontal cortex activity, supporting focus, emotional regulation, and self-awareness.
Reiki: Channels life-force energy to promote relaxation and energetic balance. A systematic review found Reiki significantly reduces stress, depression, and anxiety beyond placebo effects.
