💉 What is Botox, really?
Botox® is actually a brand name for botulinum toxin type A — a naturally occurring protein that temporarily relaxes muscles, helping to smooth fine lines and wrinkles.

Hey everyone! I’m *Dr. Joanne*, the founder and lead practitioner at Sculpt by Dr Joanne. If you’re new here, welcome! Here’s a little about me:

🏡 Born and raised in *London*, with proud *Nigerian roots*
💍 *Wife, mum to a toddler, and currently expecting baby number two!*

My journey into aesthetics began with my love for science and precision. I hold a *bachelor’s degree in Medical Genetics* and went on to complete a *second degree in Dental Surgery*. I’ve since trained extensively in *facial anatomy*, *botulinum toxins*, *dermal fillers*, *skin boosters*, *polynucleotides*, and more.
