Congratulations to our two newest officers who completed their officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS). 256 MMR now have a new General Surgeon (who was awarded Best Professionally Qualified Officer-with a sword) and Nursing Officer. A high achievement by both. The Parade was attended by the Officer Commanding of 221 Hospital Sqn, who was the CO’s representative on the day for 256MMR. Members of our ASPH Armed Forces and Veterans Committee were recently invited to Horsell Lodge to celebrate the unveiling of a new plaque, followed by a special commemorative breakfast.

Led by Dr Clarence Chikusu and Matron Louise Russell, the ASPH Armed Forces and Veterans Committee has been actively building relationships with Armed Forces and Veterans groups across our local community. The committee recently began collaborating with Horsell Lodge Care Home, attending two of their breakfast clubs and supporting them in achieving Veteran Friendly Framework (VFF) accreditation - a milestone they have now proudly accomplished 🎖️
