Garden time 🌿☀️
When the sun finally made a rare appearance this March, we couldn’t resist heading out into the garden—and it was just lovely.
A bit of friendly chat, plenty of fresh air, and simply soaking up the beautiful weather. We even got stuck into weeding the raised strawberry patch… fingers crossed for a great harvest ahead 🍓

What a fantastic St Patrick’s Day we had! ☘️ We kicked things off by reliving the iconic moment Riverdance burst onto the world stage back in 1994.
We then tested our knowledge with a fun quiz all about St Patrick and Ireland, enjoyed some non-alcoholic Guinness, and finished the celebrations by singing classic Irish songs like “Danny Boy” and “The Wild Rover.” 🎶

We had such a lovely visit to our friends at Crossways! ☕🍰 Our residents enjoyed tea, cakes, and a wonderful afternoon of music as Antony sang some favourite songs. He was joined by his fantastic singing partner Sheila, which made it even more special.
A big thank you to Crossways Nursing Home for being such warm and welcoming hosts to our visiting residents. We truly appreciate your kindness and hospitality! 💙

🌸 Mother’s Day Art Creations 🌸
Our residents got creative making beautiful decorations to celebrate Mother’s Day. Using watercolours, felt pens, and coloured pencils, everyone produced their own unique pieces of art while sharing stories and appreciation for the wonderful maternal instincts that shape our lives.
It was especially lovely to see Audrey’s great-granddaughter join in the fun! She proudly told us she would be giving her artwork to her mum today. 💖
A heartwarming activity filled with creativity, gratitude, and family moments.

On Tuesday we had a fantastic Ayla session filled with fun, laughter, and a little friendly competition! 🎈
We enjoyed a lively game of Balloon Tennis, made even better with the help of Duaa, Renee, and Nana. The fun continued with a round of Higher & Lower, followed by a memory game where the residents impressed us all by remembering every item on the tray!
A wonderful afternoon of smiles, teamwork, and brain training for everyone involved. 🧠✨

🎉 BINGO fun today!
Doreen was on fire, she snagged three wins and was absolutely delighted!
Elizabeth grabbed a bonus win, and at one stage we had four residents all waiting on just one number. In the end, Rosemary took the victory!
Eileen and Richard each enjoyed a win as well.
And the most-requested prize of the day was… you guessed it… chocolate! 🍫
Looking forward to even more BINGO excitement next month!

A wonderful start to our China Day celebrations! 🎉
This morning we decorated our space with beautiful Chinese ornaments, generously donated by Lan Siew from Hope Church.
We then set off on a virtual journey across China, discovering the adorable red pandas and learning about the fascinating family life of snub-nosed monkeys. 🐾🐒
To finish the morning, we enjoyed a relaxing Tai Chi session.
We’re excited to welcome Lan Siew back later today as she shares with us about Chinese New Year. ❤️🇨🇳
