What a truly heart warming day at Grasmere Rest Home 🎄💖

Today we enjoyed a cosy Pyjama Day, filling the home with comfort, laughter, and that lovely slow down feeling we all cherish.

To make the day even more special, we shared Christmas gifts with our beautiful residents, bringing smiles, and a little extra sparkle just in time for Christmas ✨

These moments mean so much to us. Celebrating together, creating memories, and making sure everyone feels loved and appreciated is what this season is all about.

We were so blessed this morning to have a lovely visit from St Paul’s Church and friends here at Grasmere Rest Home 🎄✨

They sang the most beautiful Christmas carols for us all, filling the home with joy, warmth, and festive spirit. It was truly a beautiful way to start the day, and we are so grateful for the time and kindness they shared with our residents. Thank you for making our morning so special ❤️

Yesterday was Grasmere Rest Home’s Christmas party, and what a day it was!

From the delicious food to the incredible entertainment by Denny, there was plenty of dancing, laughter, a visit from Santa, and festive cheer. Add in some amazing raffle prizes and the very best company, and it truly was the most wholesome day.

We love our Grasmere family and are so grateful to each and every one of you. Thank you for making the day (and every day) so special ❤️

We had the most wonderful morning with our friends from Hope Church Sutton, who came to fill Grasmere with festive cheer and beautiful carols. 🎶✨
They had all our residents singing along, and the joy in the room was truly special.

After the carols, they handed out heartfelt Christmas cards made by the children of Hope Church. And to top it off, Christopher treated everyone to musical requests on his violin — he was absolutely brilliant! 🎻
He played We Three Kings, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, and Amazing Grace, and our residents loved every moment.

The group told us they “love” visiting Grasmere, and we’re already excited to welcome them back next year. ❤️🎄

Our stylish and cosy care home in Sutton provides respite care and long-term residential and palliative care for up to 23 elderly people. We have a range of services, facilities and accommodation types that contribute to the warm and inviting atmosphere of our home. Visitors are welcome to visit at any time.
