To end Down Syndrome Awareness month💛💙:
Ethan, my little warrior, celebrates World Down Syndrome Awareness Month by reminding our family every single day just how much love, laughter, and joy can fit into one home.
He’s the cheeky heartbeat of our crew, cracking us up with his contagious belly laughs and the most epic sense of humour, often out-funning his big brother—all while teaching me that joy is found in the small moments.
From day one, he’s been a water baby (he arrived making waves in the pool!) and now rules bath times and swim sessions, always splashing with his trademark grin.
Watching Ethan, you see determination in action—he’s constantly tackling new skills, practicing a million times until he’s mastered them, never letting a challenge slow him down. “Giving up” isn’t in his vocabulary.
Every day, he pushes me to be braver, more patient, and definitely more persistent; he’s made me a better version of myself just by being the best version of himself: loud, proud, and endless fun. I get to witness a kind of courage that’s pure magic—his, and then somehow my own, reflected right back.
Ethan’s journey has taught us that life is best lived laughing till your sides hurt, loving without hesitation, and chasing every skill and splash with wild determination.
He’s not just my son—he’s my teacher, my comedian, my inspiration… and he’s the reason our family knows just how beautiful life can be when you never, ever give up.
