Postnatal core activation 2:
These exercise will help to engage your lower core muscles and pelvic floor again after childbirth.

- lay on back with right knee bent and left leg straight
- ensure lower back is pressed into the ground
- take a deep breath in and as you exhale lift the left leg keeping straight as you can but your knee soft
- take a deep breath in and lower the leg on the exhale
- repeat 6-8 times on each side

These exercises will help to engage your lower core muscles and pelvic floor again after childbirth.

- take a breath in and lower leg on the exhale
- repeat on the other side

Too many Easter eggs at home!? These were a bit of an experiment but have turned out delicious!

Cream 140g butter & 70g light brown sugar. Add 2 large beaten eggs. Fold in 140g self raising flour, 1tsp baking powder, 3 mashed ripe bananas and half a melted Easter egg!

Makes about 20 small muffins, bake at 160degree fan oven for 20 minutes. Once cooked drizzle with more melted Easter egg and add banana chips!

5 weeks post double hip replacement and this felt a bit nerve wracking but wonderfully normal at the same time!! Getting on and off was a struggle and I couldn’t keep up with my children !!
