In his book Celani draws on object-relations theory and his own clinical practice to craft a thoughtful and comprehensive description of the paradoxical adult attachment of abused children to their abusive parents.

Without demonising people with inadequate or absent parenting or caregiving skills, Celani provides understanding and guidance for those of us who may be better off with a limited or no contact with the family of origin.

A different approach to many self-helps books out there that may encourage one to sweep the difficult past under the rug and forgive.

A useful and a thought provoking read.

We are thrilled to share that Eleni Henderson has recently joined the HCC staff as our new Allocation Consultant.

Eleni originally trained at HCC and comes with invaluable passion and knowledge for HCC. Since training, Eleni has run a thriving private practice and designed and facilitated many workshops for various training organisations covering complex topics such as gender and sexuality.
