Researchers at Murmur Research & Consultancy Ltd are looking to understand more about the lived experiences of adults with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).

To be eligible to take part, you must:
▪️be aged 18 or over
▪️have a diagnosis of Crohn’s Disease or Ulcerative Colitis
▪️fit at least one of the following lived‑experience groups:
- diagnosed within the last 9 months
- diagnosed 2 or more years ago
- recently had stoma surgery
- expecting stoma surgery within the next 12 months

This study aims to build a clearer picture of what people with Crohn’s or Colitis experience at different stages of their condition.

By taking part, you will help researchers to understand what daily life, care and decision‑making are really like for people living with IBD. Findings from this study will support future improvements to services, support, and the overall IBD care pathway.

Please note: This research study is NOT organised by Crohn’s & Colitis UK and, therefore, we cannot take responsibility for your involvement in the research.

If you are interested in taking part or would like to know more, please visit:

✔ No selling or promotion
✔ 60-minute session

📢 Important update

After careful consideration, we’ve decided to close our X account.

Our priority as an IBD patient panel is to provide a safe, respectful, and trustworthy space for patients, families, and supporters. Given recent concerns around safety and the platform’s direction, we feel this is the right step for our community at this time.

You can still find our updates on:
