We're proud to celebrate the inauguration of Hikma's third manufacturing plant in Tunisia, officially opened on 10 November 2025. This state-of-the-art facility will produce general formulation medicines, strengthening our ability to deliver quality healthcare across the region and beyond.

The ceremony brought together key members of the Hikma team, including Mazen Darwazah, Executive Vice Chairman and President of MENA; Tareq Darwazeh, COO of MENA; Eyad Abuawad, VP North Africa; and Mouin Zaafrane, General Manager Tunisia, alongside distinguished representatives from the Tunisian government and other valued guests.

This milestone reinforces our commitment to accessible healthcare and our role in building a robust pharmaceutical export industry in Tunisia. Together, we're making quality medicines available to those who need them most.

Hikma MENA teams united across eight countries, with over 675 volunteers reaching more than 2,360 people during . Together, they provided 1,680+ women with breast cancer screening exams, alongside awareness sessions, medical consultations, and survivor support activities.
These efforts combined education, early detection, and community engagement, as part of our deep commitment to improving health outcomes across the region. From Pink Day events and educational talks to fitness activities and art therapy workshops, our teams worked tirelessly to raise awareness and promote early detection, reaffirming our commitment to putting better health within reach, every day.

Earlier this month, our Occupational Health, Social Responsibility, and Hikma Women’s Network teams brought Hikma employees across the U.S. and Canada together to mark Pink Day in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Our offices were decorated in pink as we united to raise awareness, show support for those affected by breast cancer, and share valuable resources on prevention, early detection, and treatment.

We’re proud to stand with the millions of individuals and families affected by breast cancer and remain committed to maintaining a culture of education, compassion, and advocacy.

Today is Manufacturing Day in the United States, and Hikma Pharmaceuticals is proud to spotlight the excellent manufacturing jobs and great career opportunities it provides in Columbus and Cleveland, Ohio, and in Cherry Hill, Dayton and Berkeley Heights, New Jersey.

In Columbus, Ohio, we produce billions of doses of oral, respiratory, and other generic medicines each year, and today our team hosts groups of local high school and vocational school students to show them how we develop and produce essential medicines that transform people’s lives and make the world healthier.

We also produce sterile injectable medicines at our plants in Cherry Hill and Dayton, New Jersey, and will soon launch a new manufacturing site in Bedford, Ohio.

This summer, we announced plans to invest $1 billion by 2030 to further expand our domestic capabilities to develop, produce and deliver hundreds of medicines used by millions of patients each day.
