I serve the Divine Feminine by remembering the old ways of connecting with women, our gifts, and our inner wisdom. I was born and raised in Brazil. I am a shamanic practitioner and a healer. My previous working life was as an engineer, most recently in sustainable energy. I've been a ceremony space holder for almost 10 years offering ceremonies in NY, London, and Budapest. I am also a mother, a wife, a sister for many, and a proud daughter of Mother Earth. I was initiated in Shamanism in Brazil 25 years ago and was given the name Ararê - friend of parrots.

Over the last five years, I’ve been learning with the Fulni-ô people.

They have preserved their language, Yaathe, and continue to sustain ritual and community life despite centuries of colonial pressure.

What I’ve witnessed is resilience without spectacle.
Spirituality woven into daily life.
A relationship with land that is reciprocal, not extractive.

I return as a student. Always.

As I visit their land next month, I hope to host retreats there — in collaboration and respect.

As the Earth begins to stir from winter’s stillness, early spring brings a shift in energy, one of renewal, hope, and growth. 🌼

The days grow longer, life returns, and we feel a deep urge to awaken from our own inner hibernation. This is a sacred time to plant new seeds, both physically and spiritually.

Early spring is a powerful season of transformation:

🌱 New Beginnings: Just as plants begin to sprout, we feel inspired to start fresh.

🌿 Balance of Light & Dark: As we approach the Spring Equinox, day and night come into harmony.

💛 Awakening Energy: Our bodies, minds, and spirits start to emerge from winter’s introspection into action.

🌷 Fertility & Creativity: Life-force energy is rising, encouraging us to create, explore, and express ourselves.

This is the perfect time to embrace change, set intentions, and take inspired action!

Why safety comes first?

Healing doesn’t begin with insight or effort.
It begins when the body feels safe enough to be present.

When safety is missing, the nervous system stays in survival. Grounding and regulation help the body remember that this moment is okay.

Shamanism is not a belief system. It is a way of relating, to the body, to nature, and to the unseen forces that shape our lives.

Across cultures, shamanic practices have supported healing by restoring balance, reconnecting us to inner resources, and creating experiences that the nervous system can feel, not just understand.

This work is not about fixing what is broken.
It is about remembering what has always been whole.

Our nervous system is always listening.
It responds to threat, overwhelm, and stress,
often before the mind even notices.

When it’s dysregulated, we feel anxious, shut down, or restless.

Shamanic practices offer tools to support nervous system regulation, helping us return to a sense of safety, presence, and balance.

Many of us move through life in survival mode without realizing it. Not because something is wrong with us, but because our bodies learned how to protect us.

Survival is intelligent. It’s adaptive.
And for many, it has been necessary.

But thriving doesn’t come from pushing harder or thinking differently. It begins when the nervous system feels safe enough to soften, settle, and expand.

This reflection is an invitation to explore how safety, regulation, and self-compassion open the door to resilience and aliveness.

A farewell that is not an ending ✨
A teaching we received on connection, presence, and return.

Some words are more than words. They carry worldview, memory, and relationship within them. This one stayed with us long after we left the land.

To honour the source is to honour Nature.
Not as an idea, but as a living, breathing intelligence.

When we listen again, the land continues to teach
patiently, faithfully, without ever withholding its wisdom.

Listening to the land teaches us how to listen inwardly.

Our Story

Hello, my name is Andréa. I am a shamanic practitioner and healer born and raised in Brazil. For almost 10 years, I have been creating safe spaces for healing, awareness, empowerment, and higher levels of consciousness, leading ceremonies in NYC, Budapest, and London. I am also a mother, a wife, a sister for many, and a proud daughter of Mother Earth.

My practices include intuitive readings and chakra balancing, ancestral healing, and healing through traditional shamanic rituals and sounds, using many tools and techniques I've learned over the past 30 years. My offerings are nurturing and, through drumming, promote a mildly altered state of consciousness that allows participants to connect with their inner voice. Modern life, with all its comforts, has taken from us the traditions of connecting with rituals, ceremonies, and sacred spaces, and I am dedicated to re-creating these opportunities.

During my initiation into Shamanism, I was given the name Ararê - a friend of parrots. I've always had a deep love of and interest in nature and spirituality, and Shamanism encompasses this perfect combination.

Shamanism is an ancient healing tradition and a way to honor and connect with nature and reconnect with self. Through its studies and practices, I developed an understanding of honoring Mother Earth as the divine sacred feminine - Gaia. Later I was trained in feminine shamanism, a practice to reclaim the sacredness and power of the feminine. My previous working life was as an engineer, most recently in sustainable energy, and energy has always been part of my life!
