This Kala Bhairav temple in Peth Pune is the “kshetrapal “ for this wonderful city and my birthplace Pune. After chasing quite a few Bhairav temples including the great where both women and men are allowed to view Aarti . While back in Pune in this kasbe peth temple , the most experience where I was thrown out and banned from viewing the Aarti . And I was forced to see it on screen only. I could not even stand and look at the live Aarti - as I got told off many times by a handful of women and finally the pandit who was doing the Aarti stopped his Aarti and came running to me to stop seeing the Aarti - even though I was well within the red line boundary . You would think maybe it was crowded - but NO ! It had just about 10 women - and even fewer men. Who were opposite side and watching the Aarti live! How shocking is this?! This temple is the kshetrapal . Surely this is not the case in one of the most ancient temples just outside Pune in Saswad where both women and men can watch the live aarti ?! This is so strange … and the obsession of the pandit at the temple to stop his Aarti midair and then ask me to stop watching live Aarti .. lol then I heard comments from other women - oh kiti awagad ahe - she is being difficult … really ? Me being complicated ? While all the men happily watch liveaarti? I would like to know which șastra pramãň of bhairava bans seeing women at live Aarti?! Furthermore when violated which serious pandit will stop Aarti and come rushing to be told off ! There were noTV screens decades ago - so only men allowed to watch for 100s of years ago? Seriously …

Happy Amāvāsyā New Moon Aries in Aswini
In month of Chaitra signally entry into vaisakh. This Lunar month is highly vital, not just because in a few days, the Sun and the Moon will be exalted known as the very auspicious Akshaya Tritiya, (third day after New Moon) but this New Moon is highly power packed for facing up our karmas and atonement for bygone things and seeking forgiveness and including the offerings to the ancestors. That is the beauty of Vaisakh, and this month has the power to wipe the slate clean of all karmas.
Next 2 days 17th and 18th (especially morning at sunrise of 18th April is ‘maitreye muhurat’) is highly vital for Shanti mantras and highly important for time to let go of all what we have done to various people, unwittingly or deliberately. Often the way we have treated people, caused hurt, envious rage or any negative emotion or acted in a rash manner which impacted others, these will have direct impact on our health and happiness. Hence, seeking forgiveness will go a long way.
Bhagvad Gita Chanting of 7 and 8 will also help.
This is in Ashwini, where one of the key talent of Ashwini Nakshatra is a expediate any kind of healing. Perhaps the above way of healing ourselves is through understanding of error of our ways and behaviours. Vagus Nerve - the central nerve system is one of the most potent healing systems known to Man , provided we know how to work with it and activate its potential. And singing, chanting , smiling deep breathing and of course aromatherapeutic Essential oils can all work wonders in immunity boosts which is directly under the purview of the vagus nerve. So don’t ignore - the idea of “satsang” is “good true company” which will bust all the cortisol levels…cortisol’s direct impact on bringing us “down” . Immunity is directly under concern for Venus and to an extent the moon and even Mercury.. hence activities of those mentioned above will indeed help in lowering cortisols and strengthening immunity… after all there is only so much yogurt one can consume for Venus activation! What of people who have lactose intolerance ? Hence consuming yogurt is not quite cutting it… our job as Jyotishis is to always search for what gets immunity to be strong to fight back any parasitic/bacterial attacks…

The power of and cannot be overstated! This is ☝️ f the best “Soul” cleansing and consciousness building and almost a meditation in itself ..especially if it comes from a “proper” lineage of guru parampara . Devaraha Ashram is simply another level of energy - it is said , A king , fire, a yogi and water are always busy - doing their own work and consequently doing their karma. And so they cannot leave what they r “doing” as that is their karma - and their highest learning . And so they cannot leave their “work” else they will be unhappy. If the king is unhappy all else wont be happy… hence they have the “karma yoga “ which is the highest form of learning, penance and leading to salvation and realisation of Brahman.
