Is it just me or does it feel like someone’s spun the globe and busy got even busier?
Life has been pretty wild lately but I’ve learnt a big lesson over the last year that’s helped me massively; slow down and do the things that support me because the to-do lists only keep on growing.
It’s easy to trick ourselves into thinking that there aren’t enough hours in a day to take some time for yourself when you’re burning the candle at both ends but the thing is; you/we/I need it now more than ever.
Meditation might not be your thing; you could have an unadulterated cup of tea (without scrolling on your phone), a digital curfew so you’ve got some time to unwind before going to sleep, do your favourite yoga practice on YouTube (I love ’s ‘Surrender’, ‘Creating Space’ and ‘Text Neck’ videos), journal, soak in the bath, lose yourself in the pages of a good book, go for a walk in nature, cuddle up with your lover/friends/kids/fur baby/Netflix...
Anything that helps you land back in the here and now.
I know it seems counter-intuitive when you’ve got deadlines and to-do lists that are out of control but when you slow down, you’ll find the clarity that you’ve been desperately seeking.
December can be overwhelming for so many reasons but prevention is better than cure when it comes to burn out.
If you’ve been feeling frazzled and need an energy reset to get you back in the game; join me for Energy Detox at Give & Receive Store on Wednesday.
You’ll learn some essential rituals that will help you press Ctrl+Alt+Delete on your vibes and turn down the volume to anxiety so that you can find your flow again.
There’ll be crystal healing (obvs) and you’ll receive your own Energy Detox tool kit, which will include a couple of must-have crystals for this time of year and palo santo, to take away so that you can find your zen, again and again.
