💭 What’s one negative thought you can reframe today?

Change your words, change your world. ✨

The way we talk to ourselves shapes how we feel, act, and show up. Swap:

“I can’t handle this” → “I’m learning and doing my best”

“This is too hard” → “This is an opportunity to grow”

Small shifts in language create big shifts in mindset. Your words are powerful, use them to lift yourself up, not hold yourself back. 💛

In my hypnotherapy clinic, all of my clients have limiting beliefs that are holding them back. It’s our job to reframe them. Lucky for us, our brain is constantly re-wiring and adapting (neuroplasticity) so change is writhing our control. It’s within our beliefs.

It’s wild how much energy we spend stressing about things that never actually happen. The truth? Most of our worries are just our mind rehearsing “what ifs” that don’t even come true.

Next time you catch yourself spiralling, pause and ask: “Will this matter in a week? A month? A year?” Chances are, it won’t.

But instead of zebras and lions… imagine you’re in a room full of your co-workers and 99 people love your presentation and one person criticises it. This is negativity bias in action today. We instinctively focus on the negative, because from an evolutionary perspective, this is what helped us survive. 💡

But that bias is no longer useful or helpful a lot of the time. The first thing is to understand it, the second thing is to change it. In hypnotherapy, I see a lot of people focusing on negative situations and phrases and ignoring the positive.
