Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK, with around 55,000 people diagnosed each year.

Anyone can develop breast cancer, so it’s important to be aware of any new or unusual changes.

Early detection makes a real difference.

If you notice something that doesn’t seem right, don’t wait — book an appointment with one of the GPs at Harrow Health Care Centre or your own GP for reassurance and advice.

Most changes are not serious, but it’s always best to get them checked.

BCG Vaccinations & Mantoux Testing Available
At Harrow Health Care Centre, we provide both Mantoux (TB skin) testing and BCG vaccinations in a safe and supportive clinic setting.

👉 Please note: BCG is recommended for those under 35 years of age.

Who may need Mantoux testing?

✔️ Before a BCG vaccination
✔️ Healthcare workers, carers, or those at higher risk of TB
✔️ For school, university, or work health checks

Who may need a BCG vaccination?

✔️ Infants & children with family links to TB-prevalent countries
✔️ At-risk groups
✔️ Travellers heading to countries with high TB rates

Anyone who is traveling outside the UK should arrange a travel health consultation and take advice on county-specific risks for their trip. 🌍

Here at The Harrow Health Care Center we can offer flexible appointments for travel consultations, ideally atleast 4weeks prior to departure, but it’s never too late to consider travel health and safety, with valuable advice and even vaccination being possible right up until the day of departure. ✈️
