Absolutely thrilled to finally share Taher Deria. has joined Lifted to lead our Operations.
As one of the first employees at Deliveroo he played a key role in scaling their operations from 14 to 50,000 drivers. As a successfully exited founder of an AI business he blends commercial drive with pragmatic common sense.

As an experienced leader of teams he knows how to get the best from people. And, as the son of a phenomenal NHS leader and former care worker, he jumped on a train in his first week to go and speak to hundreds of displaced care workers to share about how Lifted could help them.

He has the grit, capability and passion to help us achieve our challenging mission: get a million more people into health and care. Taher has been working with us behind the scenes now for a few months and he has transformed how we operate. From implementing processes and SLAs to challenging us to communicate louder; from instilling accountability to powering our very rapid growth (more on that later).

Welcome Taher. We could not be more excited and proud to have you onboard!

Our Story

Hi, I’m Rachael

I’m the Co-Founder and CEO of Lifted. My lovely mum was diagnosed with dementia when she was 56. When I realised we needed some help looking after her I had no idea where to turn. Everything was so confusing and unreliable, and I hated that I didn’t know what was happening at home when I wasn’t there.

I knew she deserved better, so I quit my job and co-founded Lifted. I’m so proud that every day we are giving families the care I dreamed of, and I can’t wait for you and your loved ones to experience it too.
