✅ REALITY: BSL and ASL are completely different languages!

Just like English and French are distinct spoken languages, British Sign Language and American Sign Language have their own grammar, vocabulary, and cultural context. They developed separately within their own deaf communities and are NOT mutually intelligible.

This is why our interpreters specialise in BSL—it's a rich, complex language with its own rules and nuances. Understanding this difference is crucial for anyone learning sign language or working with deaf communities.
