We worry with our clients about some of the changes, though agree that any of the clients have a right to a full life that includes purpose, dignity and a right to work. It is still early days for the proposals. There will be consultations, committees and parliamentary debates.

Make sure you contact the charity that supports and represents your needs or condition, or contact your MP to express any concerns if you are affected or know or care for somebody who is.

The planned changes have been met with anger from Labour MPs, unions and charities.
