AGM 2025

We had a fantastic time at our Annual General Meeting last night! πŸŽ‰

It was a productive evening with plenty of refreshments, where we got approval for our new appointed trustees, shared the Chair’s and Treasurer’s Report, and provided key updates.

Members also enjoyed a sneak peek of our brand-new 5-Year Business Plan and an exclusive first look at the fresh new design of our website.

Thank you to everyone who attended β€” we are already looking forward to next year!

First Days in the Work Place

It's great to see our three clients, all Fair Shot CafΓ© graduates, being supported by AoD's 'In work support' on their first days of work recently! πŸ₯³

-Zakariya is making pasta at Carlotta, Big Mamma!

-Ian is pre mixing cocktails at Gloria, Big Mamma.

-Alex had his first day at Kerb Social Club! He is super excited and is working with his AoD Job Coach to familiarise himself with the new environment and people.

Good luck to all three in their new roles!

Youth Service DofE

This month, four young people from the youth service took part in their Silver Expedition for their Duke of Edinburgh award, where they spent three days and two nights camping. During their expedition they learned key skills around navigation, map reading, and how to identify various plants and animals. They worked together to build tents, cook, and support each other with completing the physical portion of the expedition which included hiking over 9K across the three days.

Congratulations to Chenai, Elliot, Jahari and Shannon!
