This is such a helpful service to ensure that your Christmas tree is removed safely and disposed of responsibly.

It can be especially helpful if you don’t have access to transport to remove the tree and take it to the recycling centre.

When the time comes to pack away the decorations, Rowans Hospice is here to make parting with your tree easy, eco-friendly, and completely stress-free. We’re pleased to once again offer our Christmas Tree Collection throughout our local community.

From Thursday 8 to Saturday 10 January 2026, our amazing volunteers will pick up your tree straight from your doorstep and ensure it’s responsibly recycled.

If you’re helping a neighbour or loved one this Christmas, it may help to know the Christmas collection for recycling, rubbish, food and garden waste to prevent bags being left outside for the seagulls!

There will be changes to food waste, rubbish, recycling and garden waste collections over the festive season.

No collections will take place on Christmas Day or Boxing Day so crews can spend time with their families.
