Lisa Ellis has 29 years experience of offering alternative therapies, self development workshops, Kundalini yoga, Active meditation & 8 years running an award winning therapy business at the BBC. Lisa has been a certified holistic therapist for over 20 years and has combined that experience with 8 years running her own beauty, massage & nail therapy business within the BBC. Lisa studied Ayurveda, Reiki and Meditation in Goa, India and used what she had learnt to heal herself naturally when she suffered an illness in 2005 and was told she wouldn’t be able to have children. In 2006 she began using what she had learnt to heal her clients with great results and in 2010, her son was born. After becoming a Mum Lisa realised that there were many women in her position, busy Mums, who would benefit greatly from being able to take time out and experience relaxing & nurturing treatments and therapies that could help them address traumas, reduce stress, alleviate injuries, aches & pains and feel refreshed, energised and beautiful. Whilst Lisa does have special expertise in mother & baby massage, The Karma Mama isn’t just for Mums, it’s for all women (and their partners) who want to take a break from their day to day life and invest time in their own health & wellbeing. The Karma Mama is a specialist, mobile home visit service allowing you to relax and unwind in your own personal space. The Karma Mama mission is simple: to help all women find their inner karma mama.
