Why the world’s leading ADHD Coach keeps coming back to our Summit

If you care about doing ADHD coaching properly you’ll want to hear from the man who put it on the map. David Giwerc founder of the ADD Coach Academy (ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA)), is opening the UK ADHD Coaching Summit for the third year in a row.

Why does that matter?
Because David isn’t just an ADHD coach. He’s THE ADHD Coach.
✔ Founder of the world’s first ICF-accredited ADHD coaching programme
✔ Former president of ADDA (Attention Deficit Disorder Association)
✔ Recognised globally as the pioneer of strengths-based ADHD coaching
✔ Author of “Permission to Proceed”, a landmark ADHD coaching book

He’s trained thousands of certified ADHD coaches across the globe. If you’ve worked with a qualified ADHD coach, they’ve likely trained under him or his influence.

If you want to understand what ADHD coaching really is and why it works this is your chance.

Top Tip
Great coaching doesn’t just help you manage ADHD. It helps you master your life - on your terms.

Leading the way in ADHD support at university

For ADHDers, starting university can feel like falling off a cliff - deadlines, lectures, laundry, loneliness, all on top of executive function struggles and rejection sensitivity. It’s a lot.

That’s why ADHD coaching is a game-changer. It brings structure, accountability, and interdependence (not independence!) - helping students go from just surviving to truly thriving.

And right now, Wrexham University is showing the UK how it’s done.

Through our Thriving at University partnership with Empower ADHD, Wrexham University is proving what’s possible when a university really understands ADHD and commits to neurodiverse student success.

In fact, on the You’re Wrong About ADHD podcast, I highlighted Wrexham as the one university really doing this right- and the hosts Katie Breathwick and Sam Pittis celebrated Wrexham University as a true pioneer.

🎧 Listen here: https://pod.fo/e/32c02b

👉 Please share this episode with your networks and with your universities. The more we spread the word, the more ADHD students everywhere will have the chance to thrive.

I’m so proud that Wrexham University is leading the way - together we’re setting the standard for how higher education can empower ADHD minds to shine.

If your university wants to follow Wrexham University’s lead, get in touch with us at Empower ADHD - we’d love to help you make it happen.

A Hard Truth: Women with ADHD Are More Vulnerable to Abuse

The emotional, financial, and psychological impact of domestic abuse is devastating. And for many women with ADHD, the signs of an unhealthy relationship may be harder to recognise or easier to dismiss.

This powerful article from ADDitude Magazine explores how ADHD can increase vulnerability and why targeted IPV screening matters – now more than ever.

At Empower-ADHD, we’re passionate about making these conversations more visible and helping people access the tools and support they deserve.

Read the article here: http://bit.ly/3IkgoKI

If you’re affected, please know: there is help, there is hope, and there is a way forward.

Domestic violence help comes from IPV screenings and safety cards, which offer victims of abusive relationships critical resources.
