Marco Settineri is specialised in sports massage and exercise prescription. He has a BSc Sport & Exercise Science, with over 10 years of experience in exercise prescription. Currently at his final year of his masters in osteopathy.

He currently works as the Exercise Prescription Specialist at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine. After completing his degree in Sport & Exercise Science, he specialised in exercise referral, working internationally and collaborating with physiotherapists and osteopaths. This experience eventually led him to open his own gym, placing training and lifestyle at the heart of his approach.

Marco’s path into osteopathy was shaped by his own sports injuries during the end of his first degree, including a spinal fracture. During his recovery, he met many professionals, but osteopaths always stood out. Their deep understanding of the body’s systems and holistic approach resonated with him. He realised how osteopathy completed the work he was already doing, creating a powerful blend of movement, manual therapy, and lifestyle change.

He believes patients should become independent in managing their pain, and his role is to guide, educate, and empower them along the way. His practice is about restoring balance, building resilience, and helping people reach their full potential.

Luca’s expertise in clinical practice spans from osteopathy, to sports science, rehabilitation, and Functional Medicine interventions.

His career started in sports rehab and performance training after obtaining a BSc in Sports and Exercise Science with first class honors. Later on in his clinical years after conquering his Masters in Osteopathy with Distinction, Luca shifted his view of the human body to a more intricate understanding as a complicated ‘system of systems’ in health, disease, but most importantly focusing on subclinical signs of early dysfunction.

With his Functional Medicine lens he helps his patients in spotting early and recurrent signs of dysfunction before they develop into full blown medical conditions. These may include digestive issues, inability to lose/gain weight, back, neck, and joint pains.

His background and passion for Osteopathy, Functional Medicine, and the world of sports and exercise, makes him a unique practitioner that will be able to help you with the most cutting edge knowledge conjugating ancient wisdom and modern science.

Evidence of his unwavering dedication to his profession lies in his active participation at the prestigious British College of Osteopathic Medicine where he teaches visceral osteopathy and clinical integration.
