GLP-1s aren’t the solution. They’re a shortcut. And shortcuts come at a cost.
Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro… And now peptides like Retatrutide (“reta”) that everyone’s getting excited about.
Yes, they work!
Trials show 10–15% body weight loss. Newer compounds like retatrutide? Early studies are pushing 20%+. Impressive. (Google told me)
But let’s not bullsh*t ourselves, that’s not the full picture.
Because what they don’t do…
Is it the reason you needed them in the first place?
They don’t build structure.
They don’t build discipline. They don’t build a body that performs under pressure.
And for most people. They’re just masking lazy habits.
What weight loss “success” can look like. The same research shows (Googled it, again…)
* Up to ~30–40% of weight lost can be lean muscle mass
* Weight regain is common once you come off
* Many regain a significant portion within 12 months without lifestyle change
So if you’re taking it… But not changing anything else?
You’re not transforming.You’re renting results.
Let’s be f*cking honest for a second You’re an adult.
* Eat like an adult 🍽️
* Train 3–4x per week 🏋️
* Get your basics in check
Come on!
That’s not a capability issue.That’s a standards issue.
If you are using GLP-1s or peptides like reta. Do it properly or don’t bother.
1. Fix your food habits
2. Lift weights (non-negotiable)
3. Build routines that don’t rely on a jab
A lot of people in the Western world are being sold this as an “easy fix.” Doctors push it. Pharma profits from it. And sheep “people” buy into it because it’s easier than doing the work. That doesn’t make it smart. It makes it convenient.
GLP-1s and peptides can be tools. But if you’re not building habits, structure, and strength alongside it…You’re just delaying the inevitable.
And deep down, you know that.
