I’m very very lucky to live by the sea. Sometimes I lie on the pebbles, do some deep breathing (check out .well and for exercises) and then plunge into the cold sea. The water helps my own mental health so much, once immersed it’s hard to think of much else other than the cold water on my body and doing the next stroke along the water. I’ll sometimes get out and meditate for ten minutes (check out for wonderful meditation teaching). These are just a few things in my toolbox, they help hugely but aren’t fixers for everything. My best thing in the toolbox is to remember to take it one day at a time.
