We warmly invite you to join us for this practice retreat in Norfolk in May — a wonderful opportunity for Energy Psychotherapy CPD in a beautiful, convivial setting.

This retreat is open to energy psychotherapists, whether qualified or currently in training, who would like the chance to meet, practise together, and explore energy testing in person. It offers a space to consolidate your learning in enjoyable ways, troubleshoot with peers, and connect with a community of like-minded souls.

We have kept the cost as low as possible to simply cover expenses, including our wonderful retreat cook.

Spring Equinox Meditation and Self-Care Retreat - Norfolk

To welcome in the Spring Equinox, this gentle retreat is suitable for all, providing an opportunity to meditate and reflect on how we can best offer self-care and take space for ourselves. We aim to offer peace, calm and revitalise energy.

We will use audio and visual meditative guides to enter deeply into meditation, watch videos by William Linville, followed by discussion, and may chant mantras from time to time. Group retreats are powerful since the synergy of the group supports everyone. Beginners will experience the first steps of being able to sit with themselves, while experienced meditators can enjoy the space and peace for deep meditation.

The focus is on being rather than doing, accessing a spacious state of presence and awareness beyond the 'busy' thinking mind. Through meditation sessions, sitting and walking meditation, qigong, gentle stretching and walks, you'll keep energy flowing throughout the weekend. Emma, our retreat cook, will take care of all meals. The space created is 'sacred space' - we encourage this to be a distraction-free zone where you can leave the outer world behind.

What if therapy could feel lighter, calmer, and more grounded—without losing depth? We sit down with psychotherapist, trainer, and author Ruthie Smith to explore a practical way of working that brings the mind, body, and subtle energy into one coherent process. "Everything is energy. The often-quoted inventor Nikola Tesla once said: 'If you wish to understand the universe, think of energy, frequency and vibration'. In exploring the world of energy, our thoughts and emotions resonate at unique frequencies, with Dr Hawkins' vibrational scale measuring traumatic guilt and shame as very low – 20 and 30 Hz respectively – whereas the higher states of love, joy and peace resonate at 500 and above. I discovered that chanting the Heart Sutra and other mantras was deeply calming and brought me to peace. Simply put – the more we raise our frequency, the happier we are."
