We decided it was time to get to know our Kings Road neighbours a little better, so we invited people to drop into our office for a cup of tea, some cake, and a chance to meet the team.

It was a lovely afternoon, and we’d like to thank everyone who took the time to stop by. It was great to learn more about the people who live and work around us.

Our doors are open Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, if you’d like to visit and say hello. Tea and cake are always on offer!

We wanted to take a moment to celebrate Sharron Robertson, our Nurse Liaison, who is retiring after an incredible 25 years with Draycott.

Sharron has been a much-loved and trusted member of our team. While we will miss her dearly, we wish her a very happy and well-deserved retirement.

The Draycott team gathered at our Head Office for a farewell party to celebrate all that Sharron has contributed over the years. Sharron was presented with her gifts from Managing Director Fiona, & Client Relationship Advisor, Agnella Matsambanye.

Today, on World Mental Health Day, we recognise that loneliness can have a profound impact on both mental and physical health.

A recent survey conducted by our partners , revealed that:
• 90% of over-65s feel disconnected from their communities
• Over one-third say their social life is deteriorating
• 5% report having no daily interactions at all

This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to those in the final stages of life.

Each month, our Nurse Liaisons and Care Coordinators nominate one of our carers or nurses who has gone the extra mile, delivering compassionate, person-centred care.

This month, Olesia was chosen for the wonderful feedback she receives from clients, who often praise her for being both caring and professional.
