She has extensive experience across the board from gentle cranial work for babies and children, to adult and elderly injuries, strains and wear and tear. She has postgraduate training in paediatric osteopathy and cranial osteopathy. She receives referrals from local midwives and lactation consultants. No-one is too old or too young for osteopathy. Patients include the young, the elderly, manual workers, office workers, pregnant women, children and sports people. Adults seek treatment for a wide variety of conditions, including back pain, pregnancy posture changes, postural problems caused by driving or occupation and sports injuries. While the covid infection rates are high and we are in lockdown, the practice is open for those who are in acute pain or are struggling to function. Do call so I can triage for face to face treatment, or if I can advise you by phone or videocall to help tide you over. For those attending, you and your household will need to be free of covid symptoms and not self isolating. Patients are asked to wear a clean IIR surgical mask during treatment. To mitigate the risk of asymptomatic transmission to patients, I am testing twice a week with the covid lateral flow test. Do call on 07941537464 for more information.

I'm opening my practice again with great care and attention to safety and hygiene. Patients will be screened by phone for symptoms of Covid-19 and those that are clinically vulnerable. Social distancing is not possible during treatment, so there is some risk of Covid-19 infection. To keep this to a minimum, I will be wearing PPE, practising good hand hygiene and sanitising the clinic between patients. Patients will be staggered to avoid contact with each other. I'd request patients to also wear a mask. For more details do call 07941537464. It's not quite business as usual, but if you have been struggling during lockdown and feel that the benefits of face to face treatment outweigh the risks, do get in touch. Although I'm not seeing patients yet, I'm working hard behind the scenes in order to reopen the practice. It is impossible to socially distance during treatment, but I'm making sure it will be as safe an environment as possible for you and me and my family. I'm doing a risk assessment and formalising procedures for phone triage before appointments, hygiene, spacing out patients and more. I'm looking forward to seeing patients again.

The practice has been closed for a couple of weeks due to the government Covid-19 restrictions for social distancing, lockdown and a lack of PPE. I'm sorry I can't provide the usual hands-on treatment. However, I can provide patients with free advice on the phone or video consultations, which might tide you over in the meantime. Please take care of yourselves especially if you are doing DIY or gardening. Pacing yourself may prevent injuries. Otherwise be safe, eat well, do a bit of exercise and enjoy the rest, if you can.
