https://covidchroniclesmovie.com/ This is a really interesting documentary giving facts and views that are not being aired on mainstream media. One part highlights how metabolic issues like obesity and type 2 diabetes present the greatest risk for COVID to develop into serious disease and how important healthy nutrition is for the immune system. Quite obvious really but a message not being put out by the government who instead see the vaccine as the only solution. I think this is free to view for only a couple of days after which you have to pay a few £s - which is worth it.

I read a worrying BBC news item about "fake news" and vaccinations. The head of the NHS, Simon Stevens, is trying to get social media companies to clamp down on "fake messages" that are anti-vaccine. He quotes a parent who thinks that vaccines "block their immune systems from fighting disease as it should do". He has his opinion and others are entitled to their opinion. The NHS is putting out messages that imply that vaccines are totally safe. These ARE "fake messages" as it is clear that vaccines will do some harm to your body, however minor. Putting attenuated pathogens plus the toxic chemicals that accompany them into your body is a challenge that the body has to deal with.
We have the right to decide if that harm is worth it to prevent potentially more harm from the disease itself. This is not at all clear cut and I can see good arguments on both sides. I myself believe that vaccines do long term damage to our immune systems and should be avoided where possible. However I may still consider having a vaccine if I was entering a high risk environment where the risk of harm from a disease was clearly higher than that of the vaccine.
What is happening in parts of USA is even more worrying where vaccines are being made compulsory. In France it is already considered "child abuse" for parents not to vaccinate their children.
Non-consensual vaccination is assault in my opinion. We need to ensure that opinion is still allowed on this and other matters of our wellbeing. The issue of fake news is now being used widely to quash views, alternative opinions and sometimes genuine scientific evidence that the powers that be don't want to be in the public domain.

I was reading this article on how LED lights can damage eyesight and cause sleep problems due to blue light so did a bit of research on what to do about it. The problem is that LED and CFL energy saving lightbulbs do not emit a full spectrum and emit more on the blue side of the spectrum. The light itself is made up multiple single frequencies rather than a full range of frequencies. The warm white bulbs help a bit, but they are still not full spectrum and are "tricking" our eyes to perceive a warm colour.

So what can you do about it? As Mercola says, replace bulbs in areas where you spend time especially in the evening with the old-fashioned filament bulb. But these have mostly been banned by EU - so halogen bulbs are almost as good and a bit more efficient. 42W is the same as the old 60W though of course this is rather less efficient than the LED or CFL bulbs most of us use now.

LEDs also illuminate most of our screens. Though not perfect, you can have a night mode on most devices. In Windows in display settings, turn this on and schedule it to automatically switch a blue light filter at sunset. With mobile phones download an app such as iBlue and you can set a timer of when this comes on to filter out blue light. TV is a bit more difficult. I have decided to put a Himalayan salt lamp next to my TV so that I am at least getting some red end spectrum light. Best thing is to not watch TV for at least an hour before bedtime.

LEDs are non-analog light that typically has excessive blue frequencies. Regular exposure will contribute to worsening of sleep and an increase in disease.

Hawthorn is in bloom. The flowers and leaves make one of the most useful cardiac tonics and this is a herb that will appear in most formulas I make for people with high blood pressure, heart problems or other circulatory issues. Another name for this common hedgerow tree is Breed and Cheese as people used to eat the flowers when feeling hungry whilst out walking. It has a mild, slightly sweet flavour.

The stinging nettles are coming up fast now and these young plants are great for a Spring detox as well as a nutritious vegetable. Nettles are very cleansing to the body and help liver, skin, blood and kidneys. Simply collect young plants- leaves and stems with gloves and cook like spinach. You can also have as a tea. Once nettles flower and become tough they must not be eaten though you can still have them as tea.
