🧠 Small changes in how we communicate can make a big difference for our loved ones living with dementia.
After years of supporting people living with dementia, I’ve learned that it’s often the simplest things that matter most — a calm voice, a gentle routine, patience, reassurance, and a quiet, safe environment. As our Registered Care Manager and Registered Mental Health Nurse, Ms Patience Tambo reminds us every day that these small, thoughtful approaches can truly transform someone’s experience.
These small acts help someone feel understood, respected, and less afraid in a world that can sometimes feel confusing.
To every family and carer walking this journey: what you do every day truly matters. 🤍
