Editor’s Picks — February self-love notes šŸ’Œ

Happy Love Month angels ā™„ļø Wuthering Heights on the big screen, a new series of Bridgeton and red roses everywhere - it’s impossible to escape Valentine’s fever so here’s some self-care ideas curated by a busy editor, quietly testing the wellness rituals that truly support self-love and act as a reminder of aligned self-worth.

These are the ideas and practices that support my confidence, skin, and sense of calm over time. Not grand gestures or quick fixes, just what genuinely nurtures me in real life.

If you’d like deeper insights — the destinations I go back to, the spas I trust, favourite flower shops, coffee spots, and the places that feel like home — you’ll find it all shared in more detail on Substack.

I used to think January was the hardest month, but this year it’s felt surprisingly beautiful - the softest, most grounding way to begin again šŸ¤
Here’s some vibes and glimmers that made the last week (or two) so special…
A dreamy wellness morning .mayfair with my daughter — starting with an Pilates class, followed by a self love meditation and scalp gua sha ritual with Annabelle .uk. Afterwards, a gentle wander around Bond Street, Buns from Home, coffees from Ralph’s, and nowhere to rush to
I felt quietly proud of myself for finally starting my Substack this week. First post is live, and I’m excited to share more in-depth thoughts, honest reviews, rituals and real updates over there — a slower space to go deeper.
A beautiful visit to .pharmacy in Marylebone, catching up with my lovely friend .trevalinet and experiencing her face and body lymphatic drainage treatment — a method she’s created with her mother combining lymphatic drainage and acupressure. We spoke about the importance of emotional release as well as physical, and she sent me home with a full sequence of movements to keep my lymph flowing and my face de-puffed it
Yin yoga and a sound bath King’s Cross with , eye patches, and smoothies (heaven).
A rainy, windy evening in Canary Wharf - but so worth it for the Winter Lights trail. Proof that magic still exists even when the weather isn’t perfect.
A full day with and a circle of incredible women in wellness - nourishing food, ceremonial cacao, breathwork, connection, content creation and so much warmth. Sipping my Glow Tea (packed with skin-loving herbs) felt really special in that space.
And finally... a rooftop dinner to close the month. Incredible food, breathtaking views, and such a sense of gratitude.

Editor’s Picks —self care rituals I rely on to glow from the inside out ✨

These are the rituals I return to quietly — the ones that support my energy, skin and sense of calm over time. Not trends or quick fixes, just what genuinely works for me in real life.

If you’d like a deeper look at why I choose these habits, the products I use, how I make my matcha, the body care I rely on and the skincare I invest in - I share it all in more detail on Substack.

Day in my life, gently curated ā˜ļø
I’m often asked how I organise my time as a content creator, and the truth is it’s hard to draw a clear line between my life and my content. The two naturally overlap, and in many ways I like it that way. Still, there are moments when I want to order a matcha without taking a photo, or go to Pilates without filming a video. This season I’m in—this balance between living and creating—is the content I’m sharing. I’m learning to create clearer boundaries, but because I love the creative process, it never feels like too much.

On a typical day like this one, I start with affirmations, a simple breakfast, and a quiet morning of emails and content planning — setting the pace intentionally.

Then it’s walking in the sunlight, choosing slowness, and learning how to hold space for both work and life without one overpowering the other. One thing I can’t seem to master however, is leaving the house without buying a small indulgence. Today, it was flowers - they’ll appear in my content, so Iet’s consider it justified šŸ§ššŸ¼

Next it’s creating, editing, and fitting in a workout - moving my body to stay grounded through the day.

On to lunch. I’ve been trying some new recipes - not sure this one was my favourite but it made a change, and I’m keeping my energy going with targeted supplements rather than sugar to feel focused on my laptop through the afternoon.

Then getting ready to head out: an evening of women’s wellness for , rain on the pavements, romanticising the walk, stopping for a drink afterwards, letting the city feel cinematic rather than rushed.

Finally, home again. PM skincare by candle light. A quiet moment before bed supported by Rest & Renew magnesium & chamomile blend for a deeper, restorative sleep.

Curating a life led by calm, balance and intention✨ Let me know if you liked this & would like to share more BTS of life as a content creator?

Set your 2026 direction šŸ¤āœØ Get a pen and paper (no screens allowed) Write three headings: VIBE: your passions and rhythm, NON-NEGOTIABLES: daily rituals and routines to master, MOOD: mindsets to cultivate Less demanding than resolutions, more tangible than intentions, a hand-written list of how you want your days to flow can be a helpful tool to return to now and again to check in and see if you’re living in alignment with the vision you have for the 2026 you ✨ You could also take this list and create a gorgeous vision board but do the handwriting part first - it really helps make everything stick and feel more real. It’s not about changing, rebranding or comparison - it’s about sticking to the path that makes you feel most like your best self.
Let me know if you’re going to try this little self-care exercise in the comments rāœšŸ¼
