Recently, the Nurse Next Door Wimbledon team had the pleasure of visiting Ashtead Hospital to raise awareness of the home care services we provide in the local community 💙

It was a great opportunity to connect with healthcare professionals, share how we support people to remain safe and comfortable in their own homes, and talk about the difference compassionate care can make to individuals and their families.

💗 Supporting Our Dementia Community in Merton💗

Lauren from Nurse Next Door Wimbledon was proud to attend the wonderful Merton Memory Hub this week, where she had the pleasure of meeting Natalie from the Alzheimer’s Society.

During the visit, Lauren officially became a Dementia Friend and is excited that Nurse Next Door Wimbledon is now part of the Merton Dementia Action Alliance.

Being a Dementia Friend means committing to better understanding dementia and taking action to support those living with it and their families. Joining the Dementia Action Alliance strengthens our commitment to making Merton a more dementia-friendly community - one where individuals feel understood, supported, and valued.

The Merton Memory Hub is an incredible local resource, offering guidance, information, and connection for anyone affected by dementia. If you or someone you know could benefit, we highly encourage you to get involved.

🥞✨ Pancake Day Smiles with Rosemary ✨🥞

We had such a lovely time celebrating Pancake Day with our wonderful customer, Rosemary! There was lots of laughter, a little friendly debate about the best toppings (lemon and sugar is still a classic 🍋😉), and of course some delicious pancakes enjoyed together.

in 2025 We Opened in Wimbledon; And What a Journey It’s Been! 🎉

It’s hard to believe that we opened our doors in Wimbledon late last year and since then, so much has already been achieved.

From supporting local individuals to remain independent in their own homes, to building strong relationships with families, healthcare professionals and community partners, the last year has been full of meaningful moments that remind us why we do what we do.

We’re incredibly proud of our dedicated CareGivers, whose compassion and commitment make a real difference every single day. And to our customers and their families, thank you for trusting us to be part of your lives.
