We’ve kicked 2020 to the curb and as we face 2021 with wishes for health, happiness, and prosperity for all, we also reflect on the many lives lost and send energy to the ones who are left behind to pick up the pieces or for those still fighting for their lives. You are not forgotten and we will get through this. Don’t give up. Take your time and when ready carry on. Whatever form it brings: Inhale Life - Exhale Peace. 💘💘 - MR. & MRS. G.

How and why we started.

Dragon Vinyasa began as an idea to offer unique yoga classes infused with martial arts to our Las Vegas yoga community in 2006. However, once we began the process of putting this system together, we immediately saw the benefits of using it as a warm up for our precarious theatrical performance as MR. & MRS. G. Our dangerous presentation integrates dance with death defying crossbow stunts. Because our performance transitions from high energetic dance movement to complete stillness we needed a special way to train our bodies and breath in order to execute precision crossbow marksmanship without shaking. Thus, Dragon Vinyasa was born and refined out of necessity. We discovered that transitioning from fast paced breath and movement during the martial art Dragon segments to slow and calm ujjayi breath for the Vinyasa yoga sections was an excellent way to train ourselves for our performances.

Once we shared these techniques in classes, it became apparent that others also found the benefit of controlling breath no matter their background or occupation. As the system gained popularity, we began receiving requests and inquiries for classes and workshops. Some of these we could not accommodate because of our performance schedule. So, the following year, in 2008, we created the Dragon Vinyasa DVD, which was tapped at the beautiful Springs Preserve in Las Vegas, Nevada. The DVD also contains a technique tutorial that breaks down the sequence and alignment for each section, which was tapped at the lululemon athletica flagship store in Las Vegas.

Now, twelve years later, we find ourselves in Germany and quarantined (like much of the world) until we can resume our performances. Because we are here and unable to fulfill requests for Dragon Vinyasa DVDs, we decided to make the videos more affordable and available for streaming and downloads.
