UCL Fight the Fakes

UCL Fight the Fakes UCL Fight the Fakes is a student-led initiative with the aim to raise awareness about SSFFCs (substandard/spurious/falsely-labelled/falsified/counterfeit).

We hope to highlight this serious problem and push this issue to the top of the social healthcare agenda. We share the belief that coordination among all actors involved in the manufacturing and distribution of medicines is vital to tackle this public health threat. We are a partner organisation of Fight the Fakes, an international global campaign based in Geneva Switzerland, working to speak up and help spread the word about the dangers of fake and counterfeit medicines. To learn more about this campaign, please visit www.fightthefakes.org to read the stories of those who are impacted by fake medicines and are speaking up.

πŸŒπŸ’™ World Autism Awareness Day | 2nd April πŸ’™πŸŒ
Today we stand together to celebrate neurodiversity, foster acceptance, and challenge misconceptions about autism.

Autism is a neurodevelopmental condition, not something that needs to be β€œcured.” Every autistic person experiences the world differently β€” and that difference deserves understanding, not judgement.

As future pharmacists and members of , we’re committed to:
πŸ”Ή Raising awareness with compassion
πŸ”Ή Promoting inclusion in healthcare
πŸ”Ή Calling out fake and harmful β€œtreatments”
πŸ”Ή Supporting evidence-based care

Let’s keep learning, listening, and standing with the autistic community β€” today and every day. πŸ’¬βœ¨
