LOUP YOGA

LOUP YOGA LOUP YOGA aims to support and encourage people to live healthily, happily and humanely. The multi-faceted philosophy of LOUP YOGA results in a holistic pursuit.

It does this through yoga, which includes the physical practice, breath work, meditation and mindful decision-making. Many figures have influenced LOUP YOGA’s ideology and philosophy, cumulating in this venture. It draws on the wisdom of the yoga sutras of Patanjali, the anthropological studies of Yuval Noah Harari, Michael Pollan’s insight into where nature and culture intersect. The most important aspect is to translate the wisdom and guidance available to us into practical action for tangible results. LOUP YOGA does this by offering honest physical and mental practices to support people moving towards this healthier way of life, that respects themselves, others and the planet we live on. We focus on:

HEALTH – HAPPINESS – HUMANITY

Are you a perfectionist? So often perfectionists don’t think they’re perfectionists because they believe the word ‘perfect’ couldn’t possibly apply to them.

Sending love and Merry Christmas, if you celebrate it. 🎄

When you get triggered and you don’t know what’s going on, it’s time to get curious about your shadow…

It’s not as scary as it sounds. It’s not your secret wrongness or darkness, it’s just exiled and needs your attention.

Jung knew healing doesn’t come from correcting the psyche, but from listening to it.

Nothing inside you is wrong.

If you’re ready to be with yourself rather than fix yourself, come begin psychodynamic coaching with me.

Life begins to shift when you stop hiding from the truth of what’s present in you 🩵🤍

This is one of the philosophical roots of psychodynamic and depth-oriented coaching:

Change the internal world and the external world becomes newly available.

The world that appears to us is the world we get, because perception organises our lived reality.

You don’t get the world “as it is,” you get the world as you are in the moment.

Let’s look at this a little deeper because it is SO important for the life you long for…

Our nervous system, beliefs, emotional history, and somatic patterns shape what aspects of reality we can perceive, interpret, and respond to.

Two people can stand in the same room and live in two different worlds internally.

🌍 Why the world that appears to you becomes the world you live in

1. Attention filters reality.

Your brain filters out almost everything. What gets through is what it thinks is relevant, based on:
• past experiences
• current emotional state
• beliefs about yourself and others
• what you expect to happen

What you expect, you selectively notice and what you notice becomes “the world.”

2. Interpretation gives events their meaning.

The same event can feel safe or threatening depending on the meaning your psyche assigns.
For example:
• Someone being quiet → “They’re upset with me.”
• Or → “They’re just tired.”

Your interpretation is the world you actually experience.

3. Somatic patterns shape what is possible.

A body that is braced, collapsed, or vigilant will literally perceive a different world than a body that is open, resourced, and attuned.

The body sets the tone of the world:
• A tight chest makes the world feel demanding.
• A relaxed breath makes it feel spacious.

Your world becomes felt before it becomes thought.

4. Beliefs act like self-fulfilling frameworks.

Not in a magical sense but in a behavioral one.
Beliefs influence:
• how you show up
• what risks you take
• what invitations you notice
• what you unconsciously avoid

And these behaviors shape your outcomes, which then reinforce the original world you thought you saw.

The good news is, we have the power to become conscious and to ‘get’ a whole new world.

My brand new programme is coming soon…

As Autumn’s warm tones drop from the leaves in elegant surrender to death, the winter cold sets in inviting us to take shelter, stay close, be warm and nourish ourselves with beautiful food from the earth and the comfort of those we love around us. Although it goes against the grain of our society’s busy Christmas period, this year especially I am drawn entirely into home. To wrapping up under cosy blankets by the fire with my boys, listening to Christmas carols and drinking golden milk, putting turmeric into everything… along with cinnamon and honey and letting anything unfinished have time and space for integration and completion before we say goodbye to 2025.

This year has been the deepest bodymind exploration I have ever experienced. I have felt parts of myself I’ve spent the last 30 or so years ensuring I did not feel. I have deconstructed identities held for so long out of survival and fear and stepped courageously into the unknown… and I have never been so in love with life and its rich tapestry of experiences, emotions, sensations and relationships.

At this time of warmth, comfort and reflection - I hold dearly in my heart all those in the depths of suffering. The people here in the UK choosing whether to feed their children or heat their home. The families and humans struggling to stay alive in Gaza’s winter - and all our fellow humans on this planet neglected and forgotten by our hardened hearts. My intention this Christmas is to keep softening my heart, keep caring about the people who feel forgotten, and to keep tending to my loved ones.

A few of my favourite memories from the last month, from an exciting family trip near Bordeaux to all those treasured moments chez nous… with books, porridge, kittens, dahl and so many cuddles (and plenty of chaos, illness and sleepless nights… just to keep it real!)

Reflection on life lately… pausing to remember what really matters. It’s not all the things we do and achieve. It’s who we’re being, moment by moment, and whether or not we’re allowing life to flow and move. It’s so possible, and I know because I used to do it, to live a life that looks great - but within that portrayal of a perfect life - there’s an unsettled, unsatisfied panic. A need to keep control. To manage oneself. And it’s really tiring.

But there’s also another possibility… to let go of the need to control life, and begin to trust it. To trust yourself within it and know that you are safe, your needs will get met, you are already beyond good enough.

I’m grateful to be learning every single day. And I’m so grateful for the ones I walk this life beside. My loves, my teachers, and my loves who are my teachers.

We think we know ourselves… until we start psychodynamic depth coaching 🤣

It’s hard to describe the experience of entering another dimension of connection to oneself - it doesn’t fit with what we’ve been conditioned to believe we are.

It asks us to suspend the cerebral attachment to logic and enter into the weird and wonderful world of the subconscious, of the shadow, of the images, symbols, archetypes and somatics. From this place, we come to know ourselves in an entirely different way. We have the opportunity to ‘understand’ with so much more creativity and grace.

It is quite literally the journey of a life time. I am so committed to this wild ride, and all that it is showing me, all that is dissolving, all that is being born.

In deep gratitude that I get to experience this and also that I get to facilitate my clients on their journeys.

New podcast episode out now…

What are you avoiding? Who are you avoiding? Do you know why? The reason we avoid people/feelings/experiences is because they elicit something in us that’s uncomfortable and intolerable… but why is that?

In this episode I explore how what we’re avoiding is actually holding the magic ingredients to major transformation. Looking at what feels intolerable, allowing yourself to courageously and compassionately go there, will release a control, desperation, fear, hate, envy you never even knew was lurking there. And once it’s seen, felt, heard and experienced…. Whole new possibilities open up in your life.

🩵 Yoga & Coaching Retreat 🩵

Crete. 14-19 June 2026.

It is here.

Last year as I was deep in my psychodynamic therapeutic coaching training, I had this vision of running a retreat in Greece that combined the powerful embodied practices of yoga, breath-work and meditation with the transformative methods of psychodynamic coaching.

It has taken a lot of work to get to this point, and I am so excited to share it with you. This is a powerful container designed to create shifts within your nervous system, body and mind to allow a whole new possibility of life to come through you.

Our focus is on releasing old stories from the past that have continued to run you and keep you trapped, re-connecting with your creativity, embodying your true power, allowing more warmth, tenderness and love in and stepping into your highest potential.

All of this can radically shift your energy, health, body, sleep, relationships… it is genuinely transformative on a cellular level.

If you are living with self-doubt, worry, tension, feeling like you can’t cope, there’s never enough time or space, you need to control everything to stay ok… and you know that there is so much more to life than that, but you just don’t quite know how to reach it…

Then this retreat is for you.
