🤱 As you near the end of your pregnancy, everything starts to feel real and exciting. With labour and delivery just ahead, it’s important to understand that sometimes things don’t go exactly “naturally” - and that’s okay. According to Smart Cells, a birth intervention is when a midwife or doctor takes a deliberate action to assist during labour, delivery or immediately thereafter.

• Induction of labour - often offered around 41 weeks if you're past your due date.
