Ever wondered this? 🧐💭👇
Why 𝒄𝒂𝒏 two people have the same treatment… but end up with completely different outcomes? 👀
Because in aesthetics, the treatment is rarely ever 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐲 the same.
Results are influenced by three major factors:
1️⃣ The clinician
Treatments are hugely operator-dependent. That means patient assessment, technique, settings, product choice, treatment planning and the ability to adapt the approach all matter.
2️⃣ The device or product
Not all technologies - or injectables - are equal. Different devices deliver energy differently, and different products behave differently in tissue.
3️⃣ The patient
Every face, every skin type, every anatomy and every healing response is different. Previous treatments, surgery, dissolving, scarring, tissue quality and starting structure can all change how a result settles.
Take lip filler, for example. Patients often say, “I don’t want it because I don’t want to look like 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕” *insert image of an overfilled celebrity on Botched* But a lip treatment done in one clinic is not the same as a lip treatment done elsewhere. The outcome depends on:
✔️ Starting lip shape and anatomy
✔️ How much product is used
✔️ Where it’s placed
✔️ The product chosen
✔️ How the tissue heals
✔️ Any previous treatment history
The same applies to devices, skin treatments and energy-based procedures. Settings, strength, suitability and aftercare all matter 🙏
And finally: expectations.
One of the most important parts of consultation is making sure the treatment being discussed matches what is realistically achievable. Good aesthetics is not just about the procedure - it’s about choosing the right patient, the right clinician, the right treatment and having a clear understanding of the likely outcome.
This is why bespoke treatment planning matters so much. Because “the same treatment” is never REALLY the same 🙏⚡️✨
And who does that treatment for you, matters.
