INTO MY HANDS YOU LAY YOUR FEET: From my heart to yours ❤️
On the 1st day of the New Year, as a combination of introspection, evaluation, and pondering arises, I want to write to you, my lovely known or unknown client. I may have already touched your feet, or you may still be on your way to come to me, but in any case, I am hoping to make sense to you and explain a bit more about that electric current happening between my hands and your feet.
Thank you for your trust, for reaching out to me as a first port of call or as a last resort. This doesn’t matter; what is important is that you are here with me and I am here with you, merging both in one and being granted the mutual trust to allow the healing process to happen.
Maybe today you are coming with a specific physical condition. You are telling me that your shoulders ache or your spine hurts, and your knees give way, and you ask me to work on the relevant reflexes. You are after more of a clinical and physical approach. You are inquisitive about my knowledge, the techniques I can apply, and if it will soothe you. I am here to oblige and deliver what you would like for this session. I offer you all my humble knowledge and apply my little wisdom to deliver the treatment that you expect.
Or maybe you are feeling troubled, emotional, anxious, lost, and you do not know what you need or what you want. You just know that you needed to see me for a session; coming to my space will pacify you. I let you speak, release, whilst I connect with your feet, and then the silence strikes on both sides. The magical moment where silence takes prevalence and I am allowed to enter your soles, your soul, your space.
I observe your feet; they talk to me loudly within the silence of words. I feel them and ask them permission to go deeper and delve into the realms of your soul. Maybe you want to share today, or maybe your boundaries are up. It is my responsibility to tune in with you and respect your own very private space. I cannot force entrance into your privacy unless you grant me permission. But if you do, I am also here for you, to guide you through the touch of my hands on your feet as you lay your soles on them.
Whatever the scenario I encounter, each time and with each client, I will adapt and try to provide what is best for the highest good of my client. No two treatments are the same, but my greatest hope is that each time you leave my practice you tell me you “feel lighter” and stronger at the same time, the pain has diminished, and you are ready to embrace what comes next your way.
Today I allow myself to reflect and give myself space to consider how I can improve my practice.
All my best wishes to you for 2026,
my known or unknown client 💛
