We, the family of the late Martin Kelly wish to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised with us in our recent, sudden and sad bereavement. Sincere thanks to those who attended the wake, bringing with you many stories and memories which we appreciated so much. Thank you to all who sent Mass and sympathy cards and attended Martin’s Requiem Mass.
We extend our thanks to the doctors and nurses who cared for Martin, particularly the staff at ICU, Altnagelvin Hospital who fought to save him from this unexpected, undiagnosed terminal illness.
Sincere thanks to the chaplains from the hospital for visiting him in hospital and offering prayers and support. A special word of thanks to Fr Gerard Mongan for the beautiful Requiem Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Longtower.
Sincere thanks to Rionach Wright (nee McGlinchey|), Katie O’ Doherty and Martin’s granddaughter, Clara-Grace, for their beautiful singing at the Requiem Mass. We extend this also to Robert Peoples, Ursula Cullen and Trevor Burnside for their very fitting instrumental music and beautiful accompaniment. A sincere and appreciative thanks to Martin’s brother-in-Law Dermott Logan for his support, organisation and beautiful opening words and verse at Martin’s requiem mass. Thank you to Ciaran Carlin for the fitting and uplifting music at the graveside.
We would like to acknowledge Kieran O’Brien for the professional and dignified manner in which he supported and guided the family throughout.
