We the family of the late Caroline Noleen Labourn (nee McCarter) wish to express our deepest and most sincere thanks to everyone who supported and sympathised with us following our recent and deeply sad bereavement.

To all who telephoned, sent cards and messages, made charitable donation, brought food, attended the wake and funeral, or helped in any way, your kindness, prayers and presence gave us great comfort and strength during the most difficult of times. We are truly grateful.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Strabane Caring, Glendermott Medical Staff, the District Nurses, Dr Malek, and the team at the Northwest Cancer Care Centre, to Bradley’s of Lisnagelvin, and especially the Nurses and staff of Foyle Hospice and Marie Curie. Their exceptional care compassion and unwavering care support not only meant so much to Noleen but also to our entire family, because of their dedication, Noleen was able to remain at home, surrounded by love and for that we will be forever thankful.

A very special thank you to Noleen’s many dear friends who visited, prayed and supported us throughout her journey, particularly those close friends who stayed faithful by her side. Your loyalty, compassion, generosity and love will never be forgotten.

We offer our sincere gratitude to Rev. Colin Jones for his pastoral care, compassion and kindness. The funeral service was a beautiful and fitting celebration of Noleen’s life and captured her spirit so perfectly. We also wish to thank James McKean for his devoted care both at home and in Ward 50. The words he shared were deeply moving and honoured Noleen in a manner truly worthy of her life.

Our thanks also to Coffee Stop for so kindly providing tea and sandwiches following the funeral and to Glendermott Presbyterian Church for the generous use of their hall, allowing family and friends to gather together in comfort and fellowship.

We are especially grateful to D&R Hay and Sons Funeral Directors for the caring, dignified and professional manner in which every aspect of the funeral arrangements was carried out. Their guidance and support eased our burden greatly.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep heartfelt appreciation. The love and support shown to us will remain in our hearts always, and we thank each and everyone of you most sincerely.
