You are warmly invited to join us on Saturday 22nd November, for a special gathering celebrating the inspiring work being carried out by individuals and organisations across the Amber Valley area.

This event offers an opportunity to:

Share information about your project or organisation

Reflect on and discuss the values that motivate your work

Connect with others who are striving to build a fairer, more equal, and sustainable community

We are an informal network of community-focused groups working collaboratively to strengthen local connections, promote shared values, and support initiatives that enhance life across Amber Valley.

7 hours per week, Β£14 an hour

Office based (location – Ilkeston) with a requirement to work evening and weekends. Time off in lieu will be provided for any additional hours.

Reports to – CEO. Anticipated start date – January 2026.

Candidates will be required to have an enhanced DBS check prior to being approved in post.

We’re looking to hear from Carers who:
β€’ Are currently supporting someone in Derbyshire or Derby City
β€’ Are aged 18 or over
β€’ Are willing to share what happened when the person you care for was discharged from hospital
Why Your Voice Matters
Hospital discharge can be a challenging time for Carers. By sharing your story, you’ll help shape better support and services for others in the future.

A Carer is anyone who provides unpaid help to a family member, friend, or loved one who is ill, disabled, elderly, or facing physical or mental health challenges.
